Just wanted to post a quick note to share our excitement and pride at one of Scott’s images being chosen as one of the top 50 images in Red Bull’s Illume Image Quest 2013. This contest hasn’t happened since 2010 and the caliber of photographers and athletes featured is staggering.
This photo was the result of Scott’s passion for surfing, aerial perspectives and pioneering surf in Alaska coming together on a magically beautiful morning to be photographing from his paramotor. (more…)
It’s cold in Homer this week. The wood pile is shrinking fast. Here are a few aerial photos I took from the paramotor on a winter morning.
This post contains a selection of interesting photos from a recent aerial photoshoot from my powered paraglider (paramotor). I launched in the morning from the Homer Spit in Homer, Alaska and flew across Kachemak Bay for about 45 minutes of flying around the mountains before returning to the spit. A fellow paramotorer, Bruce Petska, joined me on the morning flight and now you can take a little visual tour yourself. Enjoy.
